Let me just say that this has become of my favorite illustrations because Wow! DC’s middle grade graphic novels introduce DC’s most iconic Super Heroes to a new generation of fans with stories told by some of the most successful authors from the middle grade publishing space. These are true sequels to the TV show that help bridge the gap between Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. The back cover of the ARC lists the main character as 16, but the text describes her as 12 going on 13 and I hope that’s true because this reads young and is perfect for the 10-14 age level.
